Jack (0.04) 2009

Jack, a Lakota Sioux, served proudly in Vietnam as part of the 7th Cavalry. At a party back in the States, Jack is told that the 7th Cavalry was the unit which massacred his people at Wounded Knee. This short film highlights his reaction to this news. Jack took first place in The Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian presents the winners of the first-ever, “Answering the Call: Veterans Day Short Film Contest.
