A Good Woman (1:33) 2004
Mrs. Erlynne (Helen Hunt) is an attractive woman who is making a career of living off wealthy men and married men. Set in the 1930s, Mrs. Erlynne is forced to move to Amalfi, Italy where many wealthy Englishmen live. Mrs. Erlynne quickly connects with a young newly married man, Robert Windermere. Robert's wife, Meg, discovers that Robert has written checks to Mrs. Erlynne and believes they are having an affair. What is the true nature of their relationship? A Good Woman is based on an Oscar Wilde play. Although the cast areis comprised of well known actors, the movie is rather flat. It just misses the mark.
