Solo (1:38) 2006
jack Barrett has been working for the Sydney Australian underworld as a hit man for years. He wants to retire because his work is making him sick. The Gentlemen, the down under crime syndicate, doesn't want Jack to retire because once your in the business, you really can't get out. Finally, Jack is given the word that he can retire after one last job. The job? Eliminate a young woman graduate student who is working on her thesis. The focus of her work is the early history of The Gentlemen. Obviously, the mob doesn't want her nosing around. Jack has met and spoken with the grad student and is attracted to her. He is resisting this last job, a decision that puts both her and him in jeopardy. A dark, seedy movie is not one that I would particularly recommend.
