Tangled (1:40) 2010
Last year's Tangled was a hit with critics and children alike. And deservedly so. Tangled is Disney's animated story of Rapunzel, the long golden hair young princess locked in a tower. Flynn, a handsome thief running away from the king's men, encounters Rapunzel in the tower. The two escape the tower so that Rapunzel can see the firework display put on by the king and queen. Rapzunel does not realize that the royal couple are her real parents. Rapzunel's mother, the woman she believes to be her mother, is chasing after the couple. Hot on Flynn's trail are the king's men and Flynn's partners in crime. As Rapunzel and Flynn are avoiding the people that will pull them apart, they find true love. This is a wonderfully delightful animation based on one of my favorite children's story. Let down your hair, stretch out and watch Tangled.
