Tyler Perry's Why Did I Get Married Too? (2:01) 2010

Why Did I Get Married Too? is a sequel to Why Did I Get Married? a movie that I missed. In reading reviews and write ups, the cast of characteristics remained the same. Four African-American couples take a yearly vacation together, this time in Bermuda. The movie is about their marriages and woven together by friendships between the women and the men. One couple is struggling financially, one couple has lost a young child, infidelity and suspected infidelity, and the return of an ex-husband are all story lines. Janet Jackson does an excellent job of playing the wife stoically grieving over the loss of her son as she shuts out her husband. The movie was entertaining in the same way as most made for television movies. The characters are likable but I wasn't invested in any of them either individually or as couples.
