Salem Falls (1:29) 2011
Salem Falls is a Lifetime Movie based on a Jodi Picoult novel of the same name. Jack, a former social studies teacher, moves to Salem Falls after being released from prison for a crime he did not commit. He takes a job as a dishwasher at the Do-Or-Diner and falls for the Addie, the owner. Addie is trying to rebound from the death of her six year old daughter three years ago.As Jack begins to rebuild his life, a trio of young girls are dabbling in witchcraft and their leader Gillian, the daughter of a wealthy business owner, falls for Jack. Gillian wants to leave town him but Jack with have none of her plans. Gillian decides to take revenge by accusing Jack of raping her. Jack now faces another trumped up charge and Addie doubts his innocence. will Jack be able to clear his name? This is a typical Lifetime movie and I have to admit, even though it wasn't very good, I kind of liked it in the same way as every once in awhile, reading a trashy novel hits the spot.
