Firewall (1:46) 2006
Firewall stars Harrison Ford as a wealthy technologist who specializes in security (firewalls) for a Seattle Bank. Bill Cox (Paul Bettany) has shadowed Stanfield's family for months. When Cox kidnaps the Stanfield's wife, children and dog, he blackmails Stanfied into transferring 100 million dollars in an offshore account. Stanfield complies but when his friend is murdered, he decides to take matters into his own hands and get his family bank. When he drains Cox's offshore accounts dry, the tables are turned, no family, no money. Stanfield uses a GPS tracking device and learns Cox and his family's location. Who will survive the showdown. I missed this film in the theaters when it was released but wanted to see it as Ford is usually in good action thriller movies. Having finally caught up with it, it is a very unrealistic movie but predictable end. I watched it on AMC and was glad that I finally saw it - at no cost.
