The Academy Award nominations for Best Foreign Language Film have been narrowed to nine from the original sixty three tiles. Listed below are the titles of the surviving nine films, country and the directors' name. On January 24th, the top five will be announced. I haven't seen any of them but predict that A Separation from Iran will be in the top five.

Morocco, “Omar Killed Me,” Roschdy Zem, director;
Poland, “In Darkness,” Agnieszka Holland, director;
Taiwan, “Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale,” Wei Te-sheng, director.
