Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy (2:08) 2011
Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy is a Cold War thriller based on the well-known LeCarre novel of the same name. Unfortunately, this movie isn't very thrilling. Actually there aren't any thrills. Gary Oldman, Toby Jones, Colin Firth and other well known actors are very good as no affect, low key British agents. The group is aware that there is a mole among them and Oldman is brought back into the family after a forced retirement. He has the charge of learning if the double agent is the the tinker, the tailor, or the soldier. Although this is a well done production, I don't think it will have any appeal to American audiences and I suspect that it will not be in the theaters for more than two weeks. This movie isn't my cup of tea - Earl Grey or not.
