Environmental Film Festival at Yale - Final Day
Transition Town Totnes is a documentary about the English transition town of Totnes. After truckers' strike shut down the transportation of food to grocery stores and the town running short on food, the residents decide to grow food locally. Currently, the village uses their own currency that is used by the towns' shopkeepers. The topic of transition towns was highlighted in several documentaries at EFFY. It is a very interesting concept and I hope to finish one this summer.
